We don’t generally think of European companies as legitimate aftermarket options for the Ford Mustang. After all, there are companies that have decades of experience building parts for the Mustang here in the United States. As with anything in life, however, there are always exceptions to the rule. One of those exceptions is the Germany-based Prior-Design who generally produces aftermarket parts for high end luxury brands like Bentley, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. They’ve recently turned their attention to American Muscle, however, and unveiled their C5 body kit for the 2005-2009 Mustang last year.
The C5 body kit is a fresh take on the first generation S197 Mustang platform and goes with a more modern rather than retro theme. The four piece package includes a new front fascia, side skirts and rear bumper with integrated diffuser. The only downside is that the rear diffuser requires a special quad exhaust system.
